Position:   Export Ocean Specialist
Experience:  0 – 2 Years
Location:    75  Montgomery Street,  Jersey City, NJ 07302

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Arriving Freight and record data in our warehouse control program
  • Follow up with shippers for any missing documentation
  • Interface with trucking companies to arrange freight movements
  • Set up freight for  consolidation and  loading in full containers
  • Book Cargo with steamship lines
  • Negotiate and obtain freight rates
  • Complete Export Documentation
  • Comply with all U.S. export regulations.
  • Process approval  for vendor payments

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Good Oral and Written Communication
  • Enjoys Customer Interaction and Assistance
  • Self-Starter
  • Works well and accurately under time pressure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Curiosity
  • Results- oriented
